Rev40 / R65 is a source candidate with portable validation recorded as passed. Windows build, MSI, installed startup and live-runtime gates remain pending in the supplied documentation. Rev39 Fix2 remains the confirmed standalone build-passing baseline until promotion is explicitly established. This is not MSP R68 parity.
Rename and upgrade compatibility
The visible name changes to Professional while the historical standalone Enterprise license authority, installer upgrade identity and protected application data remain compatible. Treat this as a forward in-place upgrade, not a new empty installation. Back up local SQLite data, settings, evidence, reports and protected keys together before testing.
Installation and configuration
Use the provided Windows deployment package or the documented source-build process for this candidate; do not assume the source ZIP is an installer. The candidate preserves the self-contained Windows x64 desktop deployment contract. After launch, verify version and edition, configure the intended organization/program and use the settings/dependency checks for only the selected collectors.
Installation ID
In the supplied Rev40 interface, select Configuration > Licensing. The licensing window shows Installation ID with a Copy button. Copy that entire value and send it to Support@ITAuditFactory.com, identifying Professional, your company and request reference. Some licensing internals or windows retain historical Enterprise wording for compatibility. Do not send an MSP server identity for this standalone application.
Guided Audit Prep and evidence
The candidate's Guided Audit Prep updates the same canonical records as Full Workspace and Auditor Review. Check resumable drafts, requirement-level evidence, readiness terminology and downstream report population. SOC 2 readiness should not receive ISO-only Annex A or ISMS blockers. Technical results support, but never replace, final human assessment conclusions.
Candidate acceptance
Validate upgrade from the existing standalone product, clean launch, encrypted-data round trips, themes/scaling, configured collectors, Guided Audit Prep and offline exports on Windows. Save the actual failure logs. Do not promote the candidate solely because static/source checks passed.
