Version 4.1.0 product line

A focused installer and connection-recovery update, carrying forward the 4.1.0–4.1.0 product improvements.

Current release · 4.1.0

Guided Server Setup

Three separate pages—Review, Database & Network, and Install & Validate—replace the long setup form. Back and Next guide the process, configuration is checked before installation, and installation and service-validation progress stay visible together.

The window fits within an 1120 × 720 footprint, reducing its size for smaller Windows work areas.

Secure Communication recovery

The client recovers from mismatched saved signing profiles by authenticating against the server’s active mode before changing profiles. It distinguishes invalid or revoked API keys from profile mismatches and verifies the final encrypted connection.

Bounded startup and activation checks keep an unavailable or restarting server from leaving the client appearing frozen.

Built into the current product line

These capabilities are included in the MSP 4.1.0 product line.

Included · since 4.1.0

Governance auto-population

Governance & ISMS projects the active client and program’s controls, findings, risks, evidence and governed records into clauses 4–10. Suggested status, sufficiency, gaps, recommended actions and stale or conflicting evidence remain traceable to their sources.

Human approval stays mandatory. Save Draft, Ready for Review, Review & Approve and Reopen keep automated observations separate from final conclusions.
Included · since 4.1.0

Executive charts & report exports

Executive HTML includes a KPI strip, assessment-status donut, severity and readiness bars, evidence sufficiency, remediation areas and asset/module views. HTML, DOCX, PDF, XLSX, CSV and the JSON manifest use one scoped report dataset.

Current boundary: trend views show the current snapshot. DOCX/PDF provide metric and text-bar summaries; graphical charts are not identical across all formats.
Included · 4.1.0–4.1.0

Guided Audit Prep & workpapers

Framework-specific guided requirements use the same canonical records as Full Workspace and Auditor Review. Evidence, owners, reviewer separation, audit periods, sampling, workpaper conclusions and approved exceptions feed the auditor-readiness gates.

Client/program-isolated drafts survive navigation and restart. Workpaper terminology follows the active framework rather than using POA&M everywhere.
Included · 4.1.0 / 4.1.0–4.1.0

Lighter navigation & consistent typography

A softer light-navigation palette preserves readable text and selection contrast. Server Administration adds scaling-aware rendering and inherits the MSP client’s typography, navigation sizes and heading hierarchy.

4.1.0 preserves these styling improvements; its client changes focus on connection recovery.
Included · 4.1.0 / 4.1.0

Verified security activation

Secure Communication has explicit ON & Verify, confirmed OFF, and current-connection verification actions. Secure profiles require encrypted database transport and protection of application-managed working data instead of treating HTTPS alone as sufficient.

Status is based on validated connection state. Technical success does not automatically become a governance or compliance approval.
Included · since 4.1.0

Server-hosted client updates

Server Administration publishes platform-specific update packages through authenticated catalog and download endpoints. Update-aware Windows clients offer newer packages only after verifying their byte count and SHA-256.

Compatible API 8 clients remain supported. A catalog slot for macOS is not itself a shipped macOS application.
Testing & development

Cross-platform work is underway

These workstreams are in active testing and development. They are separate from the Windows 4.1.0 package and are not presented as production-published releases.

Testing & development

macOS clients

The 4.1.0 product line carries forward the documented application workflows. Installer availability is shown in Downloads & beta access. macOS clients and Linux/Unix server work remain separate testing and development tracks.

Publication follows platform-specific build, security, signing, installation and compatibility validation.
Testing & development

Linux / Unix server track

Server-platform work, including the Ubuntu-targeted MSP track, is in testing and development. Supported operating systems and edition availability will be stated with each validated package.

Support for specific operating systems and Professional server availability will be stated with each release.

Historical trends & visual export parity

The 4.1.0 product line carries forward the documented application workflows. Installer availability is shown in Downloads & beta access. macOS clients and Linux/Unix server work remain separate testing and development tracks.

Cross-platform release & edition parity

Verify each macOS and server package on its target platform before publication. Check Professional and Free independently before describing MSP-only capabilities as delivered in those editions.

Release basis: MSP 4.1.0 package identity and its included 4.1.0–4.1.0 change notes. Feature availability depends on edition and validated platform. Cross-platform testing is tracked separately from the Windows 4.1.0 package.
