Version and deployment model

Rev39 Fix2 is the last user-confirmed Windows build-passing standalone baseline in the supplied release record. It was published under the previous Enterprise name; the product is now presented as IT Audit Factory Professional — Stand-Alone Edition. Do not confuse this historical standalone name with MSP — Enterprise Edition.

Professional is a standalone Windows desktop application using local SQLite. It does not require the MSP server or PostgreSQL architecture. Build-passing status is not a new claim that every deployment has completed installation/runtime acceptance.

Install or upgrade

Obtain the approved standalone installer. Before an in-place upgrade, preserve local application data, settings, evidence, reports and protected encryption material, plus a restorable prior package. Run the installer using an authorized installation account, then launch the installed shortcut. Check the version shown in the application before continuing.

Configure and pilot

Open the application settings and configure the organization, program/framework, permitted target scope and the collector credentials required for that scope. Use Dependencies for selected modules. Do not install server components simply because a shared guide describes the MSP edition. Run a small authorized pilot and verify saved settings after restart.

Licensing

Open the licensing interface for the installed build and copy the displayed Installation ID. Return it with your request reference and edition to Support@ITAuditFactory.com after agreement verification. Import the license supplied for that installation. Historical Enterprise license compatibility is retained for the standalone product; an MSP key is not a substitute.

Evidence and reports

Review collected evidence, missing/not-run results and findings in the active program. Generate a report and verify links in an offline auditor package where supported. This Professional version does not include every MSP R68 feature.

Troubleshooting and recovery

For startup or save failures, retain the exact error and sanitized logs. Check the installed version and access to the application's configured local data; do not replace a populated SQLite store with a blank one. Preserve matching encryption material during recovery. On an upgrade failure, use the approved rollback process with a consistent backup instead of combining files from different releases.
