Find the MSP server Installation ID

Identify the licensed server, return its Installation ID to Support and distinguish server activation from a workstation identifier.

MSP4.1.0
All documentation / MSP / 4.1.0

Use the approved 4.1.0 installer for your edition and confirm the version shown in the installed application. Published package availability is shown in Downloads & beta access.

Install before requesting a key

Install the approved MSP server package on the host that will retain the licensed installation. Keep the beta request reference and verified agreement correspondence. Approval alone does not activate the software.

Locate the server identity

On the server, open IT Audit Factory Server Administration and its Licensing section. Locate Installation ID and click Copy Installation ID. Copy the complete value without truncation. This is the server's installation identity, not the assessor client's computer identifier and not the random beta request reference.

Send the activation request

Email Support@ITAuditFactory.com with the request reference, company, requested MSP edition, 4.1.0 package/build, server operating system and copied Installation ID. Do not include database passwords, API credentials or private cryptographic material. Support must have verified the signed agreement before issuing beta activation material.

Apply the returned license

Use the licensing interface supplied with your server build to import or apply the matching license. Verify the recognized edition, installation binding and expiry/status. MSP and Professional licenses are not interchangeable. A rejected license should be checked for the correct edition, installation identity and validity rather than edited by hand.

Reinstallation and migration

Do not regenerate the identity or move the installation after submitting its ID without coordinating with Support. Preserve protected keys during approved upgrades. Deleting a website beta request does not revoke a previously issued software license; Support must resolve old activation material separately.
