Installer downloads and activation

Use an approved private download, verify the package and complete installation before requesting an activation key.

Version 4.1.0

All documentation · All editions 4.1.0

Public installers

Use Downloads for public Free, Professional and MSP releases. Select a package, check its version and SHA-256, then choose Download installer. Professional and MSP activation still requires a valid license. Private beta invitations remain subject to approval and the signed beta agreement.

1. Complete the Professional/MSP beta agreement

For Professional and MSP beta access, apply using your company email, verify that address and wait for approval. Free is outside the beta program; use Free downloads for public installers. Sign and return the Beta Evaluation and Confidentiality Agreement to Sales. The website does not automatically approve an application or issue a license.

2. Open the private invitation from Support

After the signed agreement is verified and an installer is available, Support emails the approved installer link. Open it and select Open my download. The private page shows the exact filename, 4.1.0 version, file size, SHA-256 and release notes.

Each invitation expires after 48 hours and permits three download starts. Opening the link does not consume a download. Keep the link private; it is a bearer credential. Contact Support for a replacement if it expires or a transfer is interrupted. Reissued links invalidate the older invitation.

3. Verify and install

Choose only your approved component: MSP Server, MSP Client, Professional or Free. All current components use 4.1.0. Match the downloaded SHA-256 to the private page and verify the publisher before running the file. Use the actual filename in this command:

Get-FileHash .\ITAF-MSP-Server-Windows-x64-4.1.0.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Keep the installation log. Check that the installed application reports 4.1.0. Changing a filename does not change the product inside it.

4. Send the correct Installation ID

Professional: open Configuration → Licensing, copy the displayed Installation ID and email it to Support.

MSP Server: on the installed server, open IT Audit Factory Server Administration → Licensing and choose Copy Installation ID. Send the server's identifier—not an assessor workstation identifier—to Support. The Windows MSP Client connects to the approved server.

Include the random request reference, component, 4.1.0 version and operating system in your email to Support@ITAuditFactory.com. Free is not part of the beta application process.

5. Activate with the supplied key

Support generates and emails the key after checking the signed agreement and required Installation ID. A download invitation is not an activation key. Do not share either one. Ask Support before moving the licensed installation to another machine.
